ITEM:

Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding proposed agreement with Tadeo A. De La Hoya as City Manager.  (Kay Macuil, City Attorney)

SUMMARY:

On December 7, 2016, City Council appointed Tadeo A. De La Hoya conditioned on a mutually agreeable contract. A proposed contract has been prepared for City Council's consideration.  The salary is the minimum pay for the position under the 2006 Salary Schedule ($100,653.00).  The 2006 Salary Schedule is currently effective for all employees.  The contract terms are comparable to other key personnel in the City.

RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:

I MOVE TO APPROVE THE CITY MANAGER'S CONTRACT AS PRESENTED FOR TADEO A. DE LA HOYA.

In addition to the salary the benefits amount is $28, 293.86.

The General Ledger Account for City Administration Salaries includes includes the salary for the City Manager, the Interim City Manager, the Administrative Assistant and the Assistant to City Council / Public Information Officer.
