Discussion on any and all matters regarding an award of a construction contract to CEMEX Construction Materials South LLC for Beach Street Sewermain and Roadway Improvements Project (CDBG Contract #132-15). (Jenny Torres, Community Development Director)
SUMMARY:
The City of San Luis intends to award CEMEX Construction Materials South LLC the construction contract for Beach Street Sewer main and Roadway Improvement Project in the amount of $239,674.00. The contractor was selected competitively by seal bids and was the lowest bidder determined to be qualified and capable of performing the contract. Funding for this contract will come from a CDBG-SSP grant from the Arizona Department of Housing.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPROVE THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO CEMEX CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS SOUTH LLC FOR THE BEACH STREET SEWER MAIN AND ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $239,674.00.
