Title:
Adopt Resolution #13-08-135 Reaffirming Council Action of Approving Easement No. AW001b to Great River Energy on Lot 1, Block 1, Alpine Addition, City of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota
Background:
At the June 25, 2013 Council meeting, Mark Riverblood presented a case asking Council to approve an easement to Great River Energy and to accept $14,000 for restoration of the area where they would have to clear trees. Council granted approval of the easement as well as accepted the restoration plan. Great River Energy approached Anoka County to record the easement and were told an easement cannot be recorded without action through a resolution. Therefore, staff drafted a resolution reaffirming the action Council took in approving the easement on June 25, 2013. Staff is requesting Council adopt this resolution, thereby allowing Great River Energy to be able to record the easement.
