Title
Adopt Resolution #14-06-107 Appointing an Environmental Policy Board Member
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to appoint an Environmental Policy Board member to a partial term to fill the vacant seat which was created as a result of an early resignation. A recruitment was conducted resulting in two candidates that were interviewed at the May 27, 2014, work-session.
Notification:
Following this appointment, all of the City's Boards and Commissions will be filled.
Funding Source:
Funding for the City's Boards and Commissions is included in the 2014 General Fund Budget; therefore, there are no additional budgetary implications associated with making the recommended appointment.
Recommendation:
The City Council agreed by consensus to appoint Mr. Reid Bernaird to the Environmental Policy Board for a partial term ending March 31, 2015.
Action:
Motion to adopt resolution #14-06-XXX appointing Mr. Reid Bernaird a partial term on the Environmental Policy Board effective through March 31, 2015.
