Adoption of Ordinance 14-05 Authorizing the Sale of City Real Estate to Imperial Development Company

On May 27th the City Council moved to introduce Ordinance 14-05, an Ordinance Authorizing The Sale of City Real Estate to Imperial Development Company, LLC after authorizing to enter into a purchase agreement with Imperial Development Company for the development of a Dollar General at 5195 142nd Ave NW.

This Ordinance is eligible for adoption.

Adoption of this Ordinance is required to convey the property, per the City Charter. Should the City and Imperial Development Company be unable to reach agreeable terms, this Ordinance will be considered void.

Alternative #1: Adopt Ordinance 14-05

Alternative #2: Decline adoption of Ordinance 14-05 thus terminating the sale of property to Imperial Development Company, LLC.

Staff is recommending Alternative #1

Motion to waive the City Charter requirement to read the ordinance aloud;

Motion to adopt Ordinance #14-05 Authorizing the Sale of City Real Estate to Imperial Development Company, LLC.
