Title
Adopt Resolution #14-10-218 Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to Execute a Deed to Jack Newcomb
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to adopt Resolution #14-10-218 authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a previously approved deed to Mr. Jack Newcomb.
Notification:
Notification is not required.
Observations/Alternatives:
On August 26, 2014, the City Council adopted Ordinance #14-11 authorizing the sale of City-Owned property to correct a typographical error in a legal description from the 1990s. In addition to the adopted ordinance, the City needs to adopt the attached resolution to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the deed on behalf of the City.
Funding Source:
The case is being handled as part of normal Staff duties.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution #14-10-218.
Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #14-10-218.
