Ordinance 24-15: Hold a public hearing to consider adopting proposed Ordinance 24-15 Granting Franchise to J & J Rentals, LLC. (Heldenbrand/Chaparro)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: Abraham Chaparro
J & J Rentals is a solid waste collection company that wishes to engage in the business of solid waste collection within the City.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION
In consideration for the City's grant of the Collection Franchise, J & J Rentals shall pay franchise fees, in an amount equaling 7% of its gross receipts for all activities under the Collection Franchise (the "Franchise Fees").
LEGAL REVIEW:
The Deputy City Attorney drafted the proposed Ordinance.
BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
Legal Committee voted 3-0 to refer to City Council at their meeting on September 26, 2024.
