Approval of Award Recommendation for RFP-25-003 Janitorial Custodial Services and authorization for the City Manager to enter into contract negotiations with a pool of four (4) vendors as a Multi-Source Award to the recommended Offerors.(Oropesa/Mascarenas)
BACKGROUND:

The City posted RFP-25-003 Janitorial Custodial Services on August 18, 2024. Four (4) proposals were received on September 17, 2024. The Evaluation Committee approved all four proposals for a multi-source award.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION
Funding will be provided by each department’s annual approved budget.
LEGAL REVIEW:
Contracts to be reviewed by the Legal Department upon award.
BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
Infrastructure Committee voted (4-0) at their October 21, 2024, to refer to City Council's Consent Agenda.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of award recommendation and authorization for city manager to enter into negotiations with the four (4) contractors listed on the award recommendation letter.
