Approval for the award of Roswell Air Center Hobson Road Lift Station Design Project to Freese & Nichols Inc. in the amount of $256,526.00 which includes GRT. (Corn/MacCornack)

The City of Roswell is seeking professional design support services for a replacement of the lift station on Hobson Road at the Roswell Air Center. This is an approved FY25 project.
Per RFP-25-002 quotes were requested to perform engineering and design services from vendors qualified per RFP-25-002.
Quotes received on October 16, 2024 for the subject project have been reviewed. Four quotes were received as follows: (Amounts include GRT)

1. FXSA                                         $ 476,034.58
2. Freese & Nichols Inc                 $ 266,032.00
3. HDR Engineering                      $ 277,065.50
4. WTC                                          $ 1,195,991,00

Freese & Nichols has provided a revised rate sheet that covers cost of design phase services only. Revised amount for FY 25 for design services is $256,526. See attached rate sheet.

Project is on approved FY25 Budget for $251,000, budget adjustment of $5,526 will be required.

No Legal review required at this time.

Infrastructure Committee recommended approval (4-0) to refer to Finance Committee at their meeting on 10/21/24. Finance Committee on 11/7/2024 voted (4-0) to recommend to November City Council.
