ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval for ratification of disaster relief PO #22501417 in the amount of $103,202.33 to Abraham's Construction. (Corn/Najar)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: Louis Najar
On October 21st, the City of Roswell suffered a catastrophic 100-year flood. Due to the unprecedented flooding, we needed to contract out the work for emergency bridge repair and roadway backfill on w. 8th St at Spring River, E. Mescalero Rd at Berrendo River, and N. Garden St. at Spring River.
In expectation of the Federal Disaster Declaration, the City of Roswell is anticipating the reimbursement of these funds.

BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
Finance Committee on 11/07/2024 voted (4-0) to recommend ratification of disaster relief PO# 22501417 in the amount of $103,202.33 to Abraham's Construction with a recommendation to place on City Council consent agenda.
