Resolution 24-XX - Consider recommending adoption of Resolution 24-XX for receiving fire recruitment funds from the DFA. (Fuller)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: Daniel Fuller
The fire department applied for funding through the State of New Mexico for the hiring of new firefighters. This grant was approved and in order to receive the funds a resolution stating acceptance of the money has to be drafted and turned into the DFA.

City attorney drafted the resolution.
BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
Public Safety Committee on 11/19/2024, voted (4-0) to recommend adoption of Resolution 24-XX for receiving fire recruitment funds from the DFA to the December 5, 2024, Finance Committee meeting with a recommendation to place on City Council consent agenda.
