ACTION REQUESTED:
Consider recommending authorization of purchase order requested for Noon Optimist Park Lighting upgrades from J&G Electric in the amount of $649,752.98 including GRT. (Najar/MacCormack)
- Funding Source - is per State Appropriation 24-I2881 for $640,000 available. Budget transfer for $9,752.98 will be required to cover shortfall.
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: James MacCornack
Purchase order requested for installation of lighting system upgrades at Noon Optimist Park. This would include additional lighting for two fields at Noon Optimist Park. Funding is per state appropriation I-2881. Procurement is through CES purchase agreement contract 2023-04-R2213-ALL.
Quotes were requested from multiple vendors, three quotes were received (all include GRT):
1. J&G Electric $ 649,752.98
2. Bixby Electric $ 654,180.38
3. RT Electric $ 767,321.00

BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
Infrastructure Committee on 10/21/2024 voted (4-0) to recommend approval of purchase order requested for Noon Optimist Park Lighting upgrades from J&G Electric in the amount of $649,752.98 including GRT to November 7, 2024 Finance Committee.
