ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of purchase order requested for Noon Optimist Park Lighting upgrades from J&G Electric in the amount of $649,752.98 including GRT. (Corn/MacCormack)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: James MacCornack
Purchase order requested for installation of lighting system upgrades at Noon Optimist Park. This would include additional lighting for two fields at Noon Optimist Park. Funding is per state appropriation I-2881. Procurement is through CES purchase agreement contract 2023-04-R2213-ALL.
Quotes were requested from multiple vendors, three quotes were received (all include GRT):
1. J&G Electric $ 649,752.98
2. Bixby Electric $ 654,180.38
3. RT Electric $ 767,321.00

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION
Funding is per State Appropriation 24-I2881 for $640,000 available. Budget transfer of $9,752.98 will be required to cover shortfall.
LEGAL REVIEW:
No Legal Review required at this time.
BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
Finance Committee on 12/5/2024 voted (4-0) to recommend approval to send to the December City Council.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Consider recommending approval of purchase order requested for Noon Optimist Park Lighting upgrades from J&G Electric in the amount of $649,752.98 including GRT.
