Approval for ratification of disaster relief PO 22501472 in the amount of $86,748.22 to Abraham's Construction for repair of damaged bridge rail on the Kentucky St Bridge over Spring River. (Corn/MacCormack)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: Louis Najar
On October 21st, the City of Roswell suffered a catastrophic 500-year flood. Due to the unprecedented flooding, we needed to contract out the work for emergency repair of bridge rail on the Kentucky St. Bridge over the Spring river.
With the Federal Disaster Declaration, the City of Roswell is anticipating the reimbursement of these funds.

Reallocation of current Street Department funding.
LEGAL REVIEW:
No legal review required at this time.
BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
Infrastructure Committee recommended approval (5-0) at their meeting on 11/18/24 to refer to Finance. Finance Committee on 12/5/2024 voted (4-0) to recommend approval to send to the December 2024 City Council.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Consider recommending authorization for ratification of disaster relief PO 22501472 in the amount of $86,748.22 to Abraham's Construction for repair of damaged bridge rail on the Kentucky St Bridge over Spring River.
