ACTION REQUESTED:

Approval for an expenditure in the amount of $476,980.17 which includes GRT for; Roswell Water Master Plan Project to Freese & Nichols Inc. (Corn/MacCornack)

BACKGROUND:

Initiated by: Louis Najar

Engineering was directed to obtain quotes for an update to the Roswell Water Master Plan. RFQ was issued utilizing Engineering Services On Call. Quotes received on November 22, 2024, for the subject project have been reviewed. Three quotes were received as follows: (Amounts include GRT). Recommend to include Option A:1 from Freese & Nichols proposal which adds $115,000 plus GRT.

1. Freese & Nichols Inc $ 352,900.00 + Option A1 = 476,980.17
2. HDR Engineering $ 252,225.65
3. BHI $ 284,904,90

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION

Project is planned to be funded with American Rescue Plan Act Corona Virus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund. Current available is $622,692.45.

LEGAL REVIEW:

No Legal review required at this time.

BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:

Finance Committee on 12/5/2024 voted (4-0) to recommend approval to the City Council.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Consider recommending authorization for an expenditure in the amount of $476,980.17 which includes GRT for Roswell Water Master Plan Project to Freese & Nichols Inc.
