ACTION REQUESTED:

Approval of authorization for ratification of the expenditure of $186,050.93, over $60,000.00, to procure engineering services from Molzen Corbin for a terminal improvement design. (Jenna Lanfor)

BACKGROUND:

Initiated by: Jenna Lanfor

A budget adjustment for $186,050.93 was approved by the city council on January 9, 2025, to utilize State Appropriations grant 23-H2930 for funding the terminal improvement design; main men and women's bathrooms, east side entrance men and women's restrooms, and standby generator from Molzen Corbin.

Sent to the city attorney for review via email on 1/20/2025.

BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:

The proposal for the terminal improvement design from Molzen Corbin was presented and discussed at the December 3, 2024, Airport Advisory Commission meeting. In the discussion, the AAC recommended the airport staff to move forward with the proposal to committees.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION:

The Notice of Obligation (no.1) specifies State Appropriations grant 23-H2930 (Terminal Improvement) has an award of $2,970,000.00 and has obligated $186,050.93 to Molzen Corbin leaving a balance of $2,783,949.07.
