ACTION REQUESTED:

Consider recommending authorization for change order to PO 22501332 for the following emergency Water & Wastewater Repairs due to flood disaster: Hondo Draw Bypass (Hondo River Sewer Damage) in the amount of $462,259.59, 4th Street man-hole replacement in the amount of $65,323.31, Lea Street manhole replacement in the amount of $128,310.37, and Berrendo River Aerial sewer line repair in the amount of $6,967.69 totaling $662,861.05 to J & H Services, Inc. including GRT. (Valadez)
  • Funding Source - Maintenance & Repair Infrastructure GL 53014355-614020, budget adjustment is required.

BACKGROUND:

Initiated by: Andrew Valadez

Emergency Flood Damage to water and waste water infrastructure for repairs to multiple areas to include the Hondo Draw Bypass, 4th Street man-hole, Lea Street man-hole, and Berrendo River Aerial Sewer Line. 
 

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION:

Funding Source - Maintenance & Repair Infrastructure GL 53014355-614020, budget adjustment is required

BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:

Infrastructure Committee on 2/24/2025 voted (4-0) to recommend this item to March 6, 2025 Finance Committee.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
