BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: James Burress
City of Roswell was awarded a grant in the amount of $240,000 to utilize for sports field lighting projects. In order to prepare electrical service for future lighting installation at Cielo Grande Soccer Fields, J&G Electric was contacted to provide a quote for installation of required electrical services. It is proposed to utilize existing J&G Electric CES contract CES 2023-20-C1117-ALL. Please see the attached quote.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION:
Funding is per Capital Appropriation Grant agreement number 24-I2878. The total award amount is $240,000.

Infrastructure Committee on 4/21/2025 voted (4-0) to recommend award of electrical service work for Cielo Grande Soccer Field Lighting to J&G Electric, Inc. in the amount of $ 145,135.60 which includes GRT to May 2025 Finance Committee with a recommendation to place on City Council consent agenda.
