ACTION REQUESTED:
Consider recommendation of approval of Award Recommendation for RFP 24-011 (2ND Posting) South Park Cemetery Columbarium Plaza to Waide Construction, Inc. in the amount of $970,104.09, which includes GRT. This project will utilize two funding sources: ARPA funds and the Well House Project Grant. (Burress)

BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: James Burress
This project was solicited through a Request for Proposals (RFP). The first solicitation resulted in no proposals received. The second time, only one proposal was submitted and it exceeded the available budget. Under the New Mexico Procurement Code, the RFP process allows for negotiation with offerors. In accordance with NMSA 1978, §13-1-115, negotiation was conducted with Waide Construction, Inc., the sole proposer. As a result, the proposed cost was reduced from $1,084,703 to $970,104.09.
