Section 10-15-1 of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act requires that the City determine on an annual basis in a public meeting what notice is reasonable for the City Council and its standing committees.

There is no direct financial impact of this resolution.
LEGAL REVIEW:
The City Attorney has reviewed the proposed resolution. Resolutions require a majority of the Governing Body for adoption.
BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
The June 26, 2026, Legal Committee meeting will be the first consideration of this matter.
