ACTION REQUESTED:
Consider recommending approval of issuing a purchase order to Howe Medical in the amount of $763,099.92 for eight (8) gurneys and eight (8) cardiac monitors. (Bunch)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: Randy Bunch
Purchase gurneys and cardiac monitors for new ambulances to make the units transport capable. In order for the fire department to maintain its Advanced Life Support program through the state of NM, this equipment is a requirement for the treatment and transport of patients.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION:
Funding Source: This purchase is not included in the FY26 Adopted Budget. Funding will be appropriated from the available fund balance in the Public Safety Fund 5500. A budget adjustment will be required to increase appropriations in line item 55004125 817505 to cover the cost of eight (8) gurneys and eight (8) cardiac monitors.
