BACKGROUND:

Streets budget includes $2,300,000 for pavement maintenance activities. It is proposed to utilize up to $1,200,000 to perform hot recycling activities on various City Streets. The streets were selected based on visual review and address some areas that were damaged by flooding in October 2024.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION:
Current available FY26 approved budget is $2,300,000 for pavement maintenance activities.

Infrastructure meeting on 8/18/2025 voted(5-0) to recommend the consideration of PO requisition for FY 26 Hot Recycle Pavement Maintenance operations. PO of up to $1,200,000 to Dustrol Inc. utilizing statewide price agreement 40-80500-23-17059 to September 2025 Finance Committee, with recommendation to place on the consent agenda.
