Consider the recommendation of the Not of This World Flag Football ' Tax Funding Request to the City Council in the amount of $10,000 for Sponsorship. (Conyers)
BACKGROUND:

Sling it Fling it 2026 will be our 5th year as a local committee running this event. This is a flag football tournament that is held in Roswell, New Mexico. This is a 4 on 4 tournament that has brought in over 100 teams in previous years and is continuing to grow each year. The tournament is held Memorial Day Weekend.

FY2025- Awarded $19,000- Expended $10,165.98
