ACTION REQUESTED:
Discussion and direction on next steps for the proposed FY27 budget and recommendations that were made at the Legal Committee meeting.
BACKGROUND:
Per Resolution 25-50, the FY27 Proposed Budget was presented at the March 26, 2026, Legal Committee Meeting. The Legal Committee reviewed and made recommendations for the departments that report to the committee. The departments are listed below.
- Airport
- City Clerk
- Community Development
- Human Resources
- Safety

FY24 Proposed Budget.
LEGAL REVIEW:
Not applicable for this agenda item.
BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
The Legal Committee reviewed and made recommendations on the FY27 Proposed Budget for the departments listed above at their March 26, 2026, meeting.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends discussion and direction from the Finance Committee. The FY27 proposed budget is not yet ready for final approval and would benefit from additional review, refinement, and potential workshop discussion.
