ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of the Roswell Hispano Chamber of Commerce funding request of $26,860 for Fiscal Year 2027. (Gass/Conyers)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: TJ Conyers
The requested funding will support programs and initiatives aimed at promoting local business development, cultural engagement, and economic vitality within the Roswell community.
The Roswell Hispano Chamber of Commerce provides resources and support for small businesses and entrepreneurs, including networking opportunities, business education, and community outreach. Their initiatives also include hosting cultural events, promoting tourism, and fostering partnerships that highlight the diversity and heritage of the region while contributing to local economic growth.
Approval of this funding request will enable the Roswell Hispano Chamber of Commerce to continue its efforts in supporting minority-owned and small businesses, enhancing community engagement, and contributing to the overall economic development and cultural enrichment of Roswell.
