The proposed resolution seeks to update the role of the Airport Advisory Commission (AAC) to better suit the evolving needs of the City of Roswell and the Roswell Air Center (RAC).

LEGAL REVIEW:
Originally drafted by Councilor Corn, this version seeks to incorporate various suggested changes. The City Attorney has incorporated the recommended changes and presented it to the May 28, 2026, Legal Committee for review.
BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
On November 18, 2025, this item was tabled for the next Legal Committee Meeting on February 26, 2026. On February 26, 2026, this item was tabled for the next Legal Committee Meeting on March 26, 2026. At the March 26, 2026 meeting Councilor Cavin requested redlines of the Resolution. On April 23, 2026 the Legal Committee meeting recommended item be tabled to the next Legal Committee Meeting on May 28, 2026 to finalize the resolution with updates included. Legal Committee recommended approval (5-0) at its meeting on May 28, 2026.
