Discussion and possible action to accept the rankings and award Request for Proposal (RFP) 2024-012 "Webb County Community Supervision and Corrections Department (CSCD) Substance Abuse Treatment Services" to the highest ranking respondent, Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans (AAMA), to provide Substance Abuse Treatment Services for the Webb County Community Supervision and Corrections Department as provided under the Texas Government Code Section 76.017 to establish a Treatment Alternative to Incarceration Program (TAIP), pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code; Sec. 262.030. Alternative Competitive Proposal Procedure for Certain Goods and Services and authorizing the General Counsel to negotiate the terms and conditions of the agreement and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: CSDC requested Webb County to secure formal proposals from interested firms for the requested services.

Solution: Consideration to award to the highest ranking respondent in accordance with published weighted criteria. 

Result: If approved, a service agreement will be executed between Webb County CSCD and the selected respondent for the advertised services.

On August 26, 2024, item no. 13b., the commissioners court authorized the Purchasing Agent to solicit Request for Proposals for a three (3) year contract for (CSCD).
