Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit Request for Qualifications for a licensed professional counselor(s) to provide mental health services to the Webb County Head Start Program for an initial term of three (3) years with two (2) additional one (1) year options to extend pursuant to the Professional Services Act and any other matters incident thereto. [Head Start Program-Mental Health Observation and Consulting Funds] 

Issue: The Webb County Head Start Program is requesting for the Court’s consideration, to hire a licensed professional counselor(s) to provide mental health services as per program performance standards.     

Solution: Consideration to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit Statement of Qualifications from a licensed counselor(s) interested in providing the requested services.   

Result: If approved, a formal solicitation will be advertised for the scope of services requested by the Webb County Head Start Program.
