Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of one (1) 20' x 40' All-Terrain Stage System with a height range adjustment between 24" - 48" from The Stage Depot for an amount not to exceed $42,037.00 for the Webb County 1848 Event Center and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #2031-1010-001-470000 (Webb County Fairgrounds-Commissioners Court-Administration-Capital Outlay)]
Issue: Currently, the 1848 Event Center does not have a mobile staging system for annual events and/or rental use. The staging system is a two-part stage that can be combined into a large setting split up into two concurrent scheduled events/rentals.
Solution: Consideration to authorize the Purchasing Agent to order the All-Terrain-weather resistant staging system for use by the 1848 Event Center and when required by other County departments for public use.
Result: If approved, the order will be placed. The ETA on delivery is estimated at 3–5 days.
