Discussion and possible action to approve a 12-month agreement (effective October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024) between Webb County for the benefit of the Webb County Court-at-Law II DWI Court Program and Serving Children and Adults in Need (SCAN, inc) in the amount not to exceed two hundred twenty thousand dollars ($220,000.00). SCAN, inc will provide substance abuse and treatment counseling for DWI Court participants as listed and approved on the grant application through U. S. Department of Health & Human Services SAMHSA and authorize the Webb County Judge to sign all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #2356-2070- 003-457008-025]

Issue: Webb County Court-at-Law II DWI Court services DWI Offenders in Webb County.

Solution: Effectively service area offenders through substance abuse counseling, mental health and other resources provided by the court with SCAN, inc partnership.

Result: Obtaining the services by SCAN, inc is a key component of grant requirements.
