Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to advertise a formal Request for Application (RFA) for a Bank Depository for Webb County in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 113 (Management of County Money), Chapter 116 (Depositories for County Public Funds) and Chapter 117 (Depositories for Certain Trust Funds and Court Registry funds) and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: The current depository bank contract expires at the end of May 2025.  Seeking permission to advertise and invite local home offices or branch facilities to participate in this RFA and to further request from the Commissioners Court the desired term for the future bank depository contract term effective June 1, 2025.  
 
Solution: Consideration to authorize the Purchasing Agent to seek competitive applications for the depository bank contract for Webb County.

Result: If approved, the RFA will be advertised as per the Texas Local Government Code and any additional directives by the Webb County Commissioners Court.
