Discussion and possible action to enter into a Sixty (60) Month (July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2030) Term Rental Agreement between Pitney Bowes, through the State of Texas Cooperative Contract Participation Agreement, and the Webb County Juvenile Board for the Juvenile Probation Department for mail postage metering services hardware and software at a per month cost of Sixty-Six Dollars Eighty-Two Cents ($66.82) for a total amount of Four Thousand Nine Dollars Twenty Cents ($4,009.20) over the term of the Agreement, subject to annual budget appropriation and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents; and any matters incident thereto. Issue: Juvenile Department does volume mailings. The volume of mail to be processed requires the necessity of a postage meter machine.
Solution: Enter into an agreement with Pitney Bowes whose services provides mail services hardware (Pitney Bowe postage machines) and software in order for the Juvenile Probation Department to process its mail.
Result: Juvenile Department will be better able to more efficiently process the mailing of letters and packages for its Department.
