Discussion and possible action to ratify the acceptance of the award and enter into a grant agreement with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development (RD) for TWO MILLION DOLLARS ($2,000,000.00). The total project cost is TWO MILLION ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,150,000.00) with ONE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,500,000.00) provided by USDA-RD, FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($500,000.00) provided by Webb County ARPA Funds, and ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($150,000.00) provided by Rio Bravo ARPA Funds. These funds will be used for the Rio Bravo Street Improvements Project. This period of performance is from June 14, 2024, to June 14, 2025.
