Subject:
Discussion and possible action to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding between OnMed, LLC and Webb County for the Bruni Public Health Facility. The purpose of the agreement is for the implementation of an OnMed CareStation that can provide comprehensive medical care via tele-medicine in an area that is medically underserved at no cost to Webb County. The term of the MOU shall be for three (3) years, commencing on April 1, 2025 and ending on March 31, 2028 and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto.
Background:
OnMed LLC received funding for the placement and operation of an OnMed CareStation at a rural area with limited to no healthcare access. The Bruni Public Health Facility was selected as a site in Webb County.
