Discussion and possible action to approve Contract Amendment #1 with Redline Architecture, LLC for the Webb County Southern Health Facility (Project No. 70800001013) to allow for additional design services in the amount of FORTY-NINE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SIXTY-SEVEN DOLLARS WITH ZERO CENTS ($49,967.00). These services include approximately six hundred feet (600 sf) of additional space, building modifications to accommodate Ruthe B. Cowl Rehabilitation and other enhancements, and authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. This amendment will have no impact to the general fund. All required documents were sent for review through the Economic Development Department and the solicitation is compliant with the Webb County Single Point of Contact (SPOC) procedures. Issue: Redline Architecture, LLC will charge $49,967.00 for the additional services related to the enhancements to the Webb County Southern Health Facility.
 
Solution: Accept the contract amendment.
 
Result: The residents of Rio Bravo, El Cenizo and surrounding areas will be able to obtain additional health care services.
