Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase one (1) Motorola P25 Interoperability Repeater Communications System and accessories for Mobile Command Center from Motorola Solutions, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $119,999.92 (Contract: 17724-HGAC (TX) RA05-21) for the Webb County Sheriff's Office in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code, Sub-Chapter F. Cooperative Purchasing Program; Section 271.101, 102 (Cooperative Purchasing Program Participation) and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: The Webb County Sheriff’s Office has secured Operation Lone Star funding for a P25 Interoperability Repeater Communication System and accessories to assist with border security initiatives with improved communication equipment.
Solution: Authorize the cooperative contract purchase exceeding $50,000.00. This Vendor has met the competitive bidding requirements of the State.
Result: Order will be placed after Commissioners Court approval.
