Discussion and possible action to authorize the acceptance of the "Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA) Continuation Grant application as developed, written, and submitted by and for the Webb County Adult Drug Court Program in the amount of Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) and authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. This grant does not require any kind of match; therefore, there is no impact to the general fund. All required documents were sent for review through the Economic Development Department and the solicitation is compliant with the Webb County Single Point of Contact (SPOC) procedures. Issue: Webb County Adult Drug Court SAMHSA Grant Application was selected for funding; A Notice of Award was received on 09/15/2025.

Solution: Acceptance of the SAMHSA Webb County Adult Drug Court Program Grant requires Commissioner's Court approval.

Result: If accepted, the Webb County Adult Drug Court Program will continue to provide substance-use disorder treatment, mental health and recovery support services to all eligible individuals in Webb County.
