Discussion and possible action to approve the use of the contingency allowance as stipulated under §4.3 (allowances) under the construction agreement between Webb County and Stoddard Enterprises, LLC., in an amount not to exceed $5,644.30 for the purchase of crossover ladders for the Webb County Dean Senator Judith Zaffirini Justice Center Building Envelope & Site Rehab Project and to further authorize the Webb County Judge to sign any relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: This is to cover the cost of producing crossover ladders with aluminum materials to more closely match the Copper patina and contour of the new roof; and to allow access to the east and west side of the building..

Solution: Consideration to authorize the use of $5,644.30 from the owner's contingency allowance.

Result: If approved, the contractor will be authorized to use the owner's contingency amount as approved by Commissioners Court. There will be no increase or decrease to the original contract sum.
