Discussion and possible action to authorize a service agreement between Webb County and AccuSourceHR (TIPS Contract No. 240701) for online comprehensive criminal background checks, educational verification and motor vehicle record checks by the Webb County Human Resources Department pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code; §271.101, & §271.102, Sub-Chapter F. Issue: The Human Resources Department is recommending the services of AccusourceHR to improve the turnaround times for criminal background checks, educational verification, motor vehicle record checks and to improve applicant experience by reducing manual work by speeding up the onboarding of new employees.      

Solution: Consideration to approve a service agreement between Webb County and AccuSourceHR for the requested services.  Vendor has a cooperative contract and complies with the competitive bidding requirements of the State of Texas. 

Result: If approved, General Counsel will prepare the service agreement for the requested services and secure approval from Commissioners Court for final execution of terms, conditions, and related fees.
