Discussion and possible action to approve the use of the contingency allowance as stipulated under §4.3 (allowances) under the construction agreement between Webb County and Chamberlin Roofing and Waterproofing, in an amount not to exceed $31,085.00 for concrete Epoxy overlay for the Webb County Sheriff Department Administration Project-Parking Garage Renovations and to further authorize the Webb County Judge to sign any relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Due to imperfections of the concrete surface, the architect decided to opt for a higher strength epoxy coating. This is also required for warranty.

Solution: Consideration to authorize the use of $31,085.00 from the owner's contingency allowance funds.

Result: If approved, the Contractor will be authorized to use the owner's contingency amount as approved by Commissioners Court. There will be no increase or decrease to the original contract sum.
