Subject:
Discussion and possible action to approve the 2025-2026 Formula Grant Indigent Defense Resolution and to authorize the Webb County Judge to sign all pertinent documents. The purpose of the grant is to maintain quality and cost effective defense system that meets the needs of local communities and the requirements of the constitution and state laws. Webb County will be eligible to receive a portion of the funding. There is no negative impact on the general fund. \The necessary documents have been submitted for review and approval to the Economic Development Department and to the Civil Legal Department.
