Subject:
Discussion and possible action to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Webb County for the benefit of the Webb County Sheriff's Office and the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of Laredo-Webb County for Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), Working Protocols, Investigations, and Victims Services protocols until either party terminates with 30 day written notice; and authorizing the county judge to sign any all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. No impact to the general fund.
Issue: CAC MDT protocols need to be renewed and updated for the continuance of coordinated Law Enforcement services to Webb County.
Solution: Enter into a MOU with the CAC for “working protocols”.
Result: Continuation of coordinated combined Law Enforcement services to Webb County through the Sheriff’s Office participation in the CAC MDT.
