Discussion and possible action to approve Change Order 001 in the amount of $70,738.48, as a credit from Stoddard General Contractors for the Webb County Dean Senator Judith Zaffirini Justice Center Building Envelope and Site Rehabilitation Project; and authorize the County Judge sign any relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto.  [Account #1001-1130-001-470000 (Capital Outlay)] 
 
Issue: The proposed metal framed skylights from Velux Commercial do not meet specification requirements (lead time, availability, schedule impact, extended warranties), and the Apollo Industries skylight exceeds specification requirements.
 
Solution: The contractor has fully reviewed the proposed substitution, including its impact on the work, and certifies it matches or exceeds the performance, durability, appearance, size and other characteristics of the specified product.

Result: The contractor will execute work required to properly install the proposed substitution in accordance with the contract and will credit the county the amount of $70,738.48.
