Discussion and possible action to accept the award and enter into an agreement with the Texas Office of the Governor's Criminal Justice Division (CJD) DC- Specialty Courts Program Grant no. 4448104, in the amount of TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-FOUR THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FORTY-TWO DOLLARS ($224,142.00) beginning September 1, 2025–August 31, 2026, for the Webb County Adult Drug Court Program, and authorizing the County Judge to execute all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. There is no cash/in-kind match required; therefore, there is no financial impact on the general fund. All required documents were sent for review to the Economic Development Department and the acceptance of the grant award is compliant with the Webb County Single Point of Contact (SPOC) procedures. Issue: Notice of Award from the Office of the Governor for the Adult Drug Court Program was received on October 20, 2025. Acceptance by Commissioners Court is required to activate grant funding.

Solution: Accept the Notice of Award to proceed with additional treatment services to eligible Drug Court participants.

Result: If accepted, funding will allow Drug Court to continue providing services without interruption to all eligible clients.
