Issue: The Webb County Commissioners Court has authorized County staff to negotiate the purchase of said properties subject to an environmental site assessment on both properties.
Solution: The services were obtained from a contracted firm selected by Commissioner Court; the work authorization was expedited to meet closing deadlines.
Result: The Phase I ESA will provide Webb County with a preliminary investigation of properties to identify potential environmental contamination risks, if any.
