Discussion and possible action to enter into a three (3) year agreement (beginning Oct. 1, 2024, to September 30, 2027), with the option for a two (2) year renewal between Webb County for the benefit of the 1848 fairgrounds and Angel Care Ambulance Service, LLC to provide EMS services at the 1848 Fairgrounds during events and authorizing the county judge to sign all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: The Fairgrounds requires dedicated EMS services for future events, and negotiations for a contracted provider were previously initiated.
Solution: Civil Legal was directed to negotiate a contract with Angel Care and present the finalized agreement for Commissioners Court review and approval.
Result: Approval of the contract will secure EMS services for future Fairgrounds events and ensure reliable emergency response coverage.
