Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of (One) Ricoh fl-8170 document scanner- destop (CDW-G); (One) HP M430F MFP B&W Laser Multifunction Printer/Reg (B&H); (One) Canon PIXMA TR150 wireless portable Printer (Amazon); and (Two) Toner Cartridge in the subtotal amount not to exceed $3,300 and to further authorize the funding source from the Technology fund under Article 102.0173 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure. Issue: We have a station that is missing a scanner to be fully functional. We are providing court services in El Cenizo, and we need a portable printer to connect to our laptops to be fully functional. Lastly, our B&W printer backup in the truancy department has stopped working.
Solution: With the Commissioner’s Court's approval, we can proceed with these purchases.
Result: Our priority is to provide quality customer service, and these technological tools help us deliver it.
