Discussion and possible action to approve a grant amendment in the amount of FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($15,000.00) for the FY 2025 State Rural Grant Webb CO- 00079 from the Texas Department of Transportation, designating the Webb County Judge as the authorized official; and any matters incident thereto. No impact to the General Fund. All required documentation has been submitted to the Economic Development Department, and the solicitation is complaint with Webb County (SPOC) Single Point of Contact procedures. [Grant Fund #2661]
Issue: Webb County CAA El Aguila Rural Public Transit is an agency whose services are primarily funded through the utilization of state and federal grants.
Solution: The approval by the Webb County Commissioners’ Court to amend the State 5311 state grant monies will allow El Aguila Rural Transit to receive the funds.
Result: Approval of the contract amendment will ensure continuation of transportation services to serve the residents living in the rural areas of Webb County.
