Discussion and possible action to authorize a budget amendment by Order for the Webb County Employees’ Health Benefit Fund to cover the year-end FY 2025 deficit fund balance of $670,172 for medical, dental and prescription expenditures over employer contributions and employees’ deductions revenues; and any other matter incident thereto:
Issue: The FY2025 year-end expenditures for medical, dental and prescription exceeded employer contribution and employees’ deductions revenues.
Solution: The General Fund’s general operating expenditures department has the available budget balances to cover the FY 2025 year-end deficit fund balance for the Webb County Employees Health Benefit Fund.
Result: The County Employees Health Benefit fund deficit will be eliminated for the beginning of the FY2025-2026 fiscal year.
