Discussion and possible action to award an informal bid for the 1848 generator relocation and installation project to the lowest responsible bidder, CID Group, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $39,049.00 and to authorize the transfer of funds from the second quarter payroll savings to the department's repair and maintenance account and to further authorize general counsel to prepare an installation agreement for the awarded amount and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #2031-1010-001-443000-035 (Webb County Fairgrounds-Commissioners Court-Administration-Repairs & Maintenance-Equipment)]

Issue: The 1848 facility requires a backup generator. There was an available Generac generator at the Juvenile facility that was not being used.  The Webb County Engineering Department prepared plans and specifications for bidders to submit pricing to the Webb County Purchasing agent.   
 
Solution: Consideration to approve the Award to the lowest responsible bidder.  
 
Result: If approved, general counsel will prepare an installation agreement between the awarded vendor and Webb County for execution.
